My Background

I began my career in Solid Organ Transplant, where I was extremely passionate about my work. I went above and beyond all of the time (not always the healthiest thing!). I then made one of my career dreams true and became a travel nurse!

I was a travel nurse for three years. I settled in San Diego, CA for some time. I eventually moved back to the East Coast where my last nursing job was in the cardiothoracic ICU.

Although I have made beautiful memories, progressed as a nurse, and have had many rewarding experiences, I could have benefited from stress management practices.

When I left the CTICU, my nervous system was not happy and totally drained. Within the last two years, I have explored and witnessed the power of holistic modalities to manage stress and heal the nervous system. Within the last two years, I have also become a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association and American Cannabis Nurses Association. I am now a certified Cannabis Nurse and aim to help others access their self-healing capabilities and make holistic wellness a priority.

Passion is Powerful

Offerings are for everyone and anyone who feels curious or an inner pull toward this work!

I have been practicing yoga for almost a decade. Yoga was my peace, self-care, and reflective practice on my days off as a nurse. I also always allowed natures magic to provide a sense of ease and calm for me!  Within the last two years, my meditation practice has greatly evolved. I had the opportunity to dive into this medicine deeply on my own healing journey. One of my morning rituals is meditation and breathwork. I believe all nurses are all holistic nurses at heart; striving to treat patients and most importantly our-selves wholly. We are all holistic beings and are worthy of nourishing the mind, body, and spirit for more wellness.

It’s time for nurses and our leadership to realize the profound impacts of self- care, self-love, and reflection for our own well being as well as our patients. Our job demands a lot from us and being self-less beings for our patients can cause us harm and ultimately our patients harm.

Of course, there will always be stressors in our work environment, but with meditation, breathwork practices, and other self- care practices you can reduce stress, reduce harm to your health, and increase patient outcomes and satisfaction.  80% of the number one causes of death in the United States of America are stress related! We could all use less stress and more love.
